THE HOUSE – Sobriety Living Plettenberg Bay

The House is a Sober living home privately owned by Jeffrey and Liza Westwood, locals with a long history in Plettenberg Bay.  The Programme is monitored by a registered as a Ethno – psychologist, who is validated with EPASA, and holds a practice number in the Holistic Medical Field.

The counsellor is listed with all the authorities as a practicing counsellor and in good standing with the University of Sedona, the parent body of the International Ministry.

The HOUSE is – a Sober living home full of care, tranquility and love, creating a family setting for people re-integrating, a gentle process after recovering from addiction.

Just off Longships (the long road with all the rehabs in), situated 900 m off the beautiful Sanctuary Beach is a sobriety living home operated by Liza and Jeff.

Property is very streamlined, and minimalistic without being clinical, we maintain our home is a sacred place already, full of character and warmth, but naturally the rooms accommodate 2 per room, and have single beds,  each room with a full bathroom.

“Plett” is the true jewel on the Garden Route. 

Our main purpose is to offer safe, progressive, healthy, motivational based reintegration for people after leaving an addiction treatment Programme or having relapsed after attending an addiction treatment program.
A band of great outdoor activities are available from Bungee Jumping, Sky Diving, Zip Lining, Black water tubing, Whale Watching, Hiking, Beach Activities, Scuba Diving, Kayaking and the list continues.
The HOUSE aims to be one of South Africa’s leading Premier Sober Living Facilities, and through a motivational understanding of addiction.

We do believe everybody is able to issue a “KO” over their addiction.  We will provide a means for reintegration, in a safe and sober facility while reinforcing responsibility, purpose and fullness in sobriety.

Daily Schedules follow underpinning routine and structure, coupled with original tasks and venturing out of comfort zones, taking new sober challenge.  We insist on group therapy, to core level, building trust, honour and teaching honesty, in personhood.

Familyhood is created with our small intimate groups and are planned to shape sacred friendship bonds, predestined to last forever.

We certify you will be a better equipped person, free of blocked trauma, in body mind and spirit for a life of accountability, and honour and integrity, all you need to do is BOOK IN and BE OPEN.

The foundations of your character are to take you out of the box not put you in one.

We offer personal metaphysical counselling, and offer courses for those who want to take their new life to a deeper purpose or willing to motivate the change of their lives into a future career.

Our counselling and courses at The House will ensure the recovering person a healthy peer network and model of recovery, and also the option of obtaining a Bachelors Degree in International Metaphysical Science, for those willing to motivate the change of their lives into a possible future career.

We can assist in volunteer applications for those who wish to start out in the wonderful field of volunteering.

Often there is a tendency to come in and out of rehab, doing the same thing over and over, pretty much this habit seems to be pretty much like a new addiction.

An addiction to try to conquer an addiction. Often they leave and quickly glide straight back to old ways, and through a safe living and sober environment, slowly building the integration, while assuming perhaps a job, study, or new hobby, this period is an integral part of using the tools and practicing a sober life, that are learnt at rehab. The House is your internship back to finding a safe friendship and family, a safe job, a safe world, that eventually become a safe universe for you. This is because you can be safe….
